Mini camcorders are continuing to come down in price which means that they are increasingly becoming a more affordable option for consumers who up until now have been satisfied with compact stills cameras. Camcorders will, of course, never eliminate photography, which is an art form in its own right, but there are tons of good reasons to get yourself one, especially if you can grab yourself a bargain.

The primary use of mini camcorders is for the recording of home videos. There are no better ways of being able to remember what your kids looked like and got up to when they were young than recording those precious moments on mini camcorders. Also, many blogs now have the facility for video upload and enable you to do a video podcast with a much better quality than your regular webcam.
